Jennie and Parker came for a visit, it was so nice to hang out with them and get to know Parker. The last time we saw him was when they came up for Grandpa's funeral in November of 2007, and he was only 3 months old then. The first night, he came to our house while Grandma tended him so Aunt Jennie could go out to dinner. We decided it would be fun for Nate and Dana to come over too, then all the cousins could play together. Parker was pretty overwhelmed when he was over here with all the kids and all the noise, plus not knowing where he was or knowing anyone here.... he was not a very happy little guy. Aunt Dana got him to snooze for awhile on her lap, then he was a little bit happier after that.

Last night, we all got together for dinner and Parker had a better time with his cousins. He played and ran around with the kids all evening. I was so glad he warmed up a bit, it was easier for him this time, since his mommy was close by. He kept making sure she was still there and hadn't left him again.
