Playing Pet Shop

Janessa gathered up the stuffed animals for her pet shop on the top bunk.

First Sponge Bath

Micah loved having his hair washed, but didn't care too much for the sponge bath. He did like being cuddled up in the big fluffy towel, though.

Homecoming

We brought Micah home today!! Here he is in his carseat.

His first night at home. He actually did pretty well. He went to bed around 10:30, then was up around 2:00 am, back down by 3:00, and slept till 7:00 in the morning. Not too bad!

Had to add this picture, Andrew just had to have Seth's Scout book when he went to bed.

Hospital Pictures

Micah had to stay in the Level II Nursery for the first day and a half. I was borderline gestational diabetic so they had to keep a close eye on his blood sugar after he was born. I was finally able to have him in my room by around 4:00 pm the next day. These are pictures of the kids meeting him for the first time. :)

9 pounds 1 ounce. 21 inches long.

My water broke the night before at a Mother/Daughter Spa Night for the Achievement Day girls. What a memory I will forever share with about 20 ladies in our ward. LOL! I labored all night long, without sleep, and he was born the next morning. He has lots of dark hair and sideburns that reach to his shoulders. :)

Homework

Jonah has to write in his reading response journal after he reads for 20 minutes.

Double Birthdays!!!

Cassidy turned 11 at 9:03 am this morning. Andrew turned 2 at 6:57 pm. They're my twins. Separated by 9 years. ;)

Last Chance to Swim

It's in the mid 80s today, and a little windy, but we jumped at the opportunity to go "swimming" with some friends. Janessa and Andrew played in the pool and on the swingset, while the moms sat and chatted for awhile.

Nightly Prayers

Every night, after we read out of the scriptures, we all kneel at the couches and have family prayer. I thought this was a pretty cute picture, everyone in their jammies by the couch. Of course, Andrew can't kneel because he's a shorty. LOL

Muji

This is Muji, the cat that my mom was babysitting for a couple of months. Isn't she pretty? At first, she was scared of the grandkids, but she calmed down and got used to them. She also realized that she liked being outside, too. Mom said she ruined her and turned her into an outside cat. LOL
