Did any of your other kiddos like it as much as he does? Ethan LOVED his and it was very difficult to get rid of it. Seth wouldn't take one. Good luck!

When he gets a little older the Binky fairy comes and takes it and leaves him a little something - worked with the twins but not so good with Dyl

Susan, my Seth had one for naptime and bedtime, up to age 2. We had him leave it out for Santa in exchange for some big boy toys, and that worked out really well. But Andrew is even more attached to his than Seth ever was. My other kids got rid of theirs on their own by the time they turned one.

You might want to try ditching all but one, and then cutting the tip off the end of the one that is left. It deflates the nipple and when you suck on it, it goes flat. Billy was a nuk addict and he dropped his "broken" nuk in 2 days. Good luck!

Eh. We made it a crib-only thing around age 18 months. I asked the pediatrician about sleeping with it and he said, "She'll stop when she's ready." And when she was three, she did. (he also asked me, "Do you really believe she won't need braces if you take her pacifier away?" I heart my doctor.)
